Sometimes life takes interesting twists and turns, there are ups and downs, joy and sadness. In those moments, you can find your true self - your authentic, wonderful self! That is, if you ignore self doubt, ignore self conscious back-talk and just decide that being you, with your wonderful personality and talent is a perfect gift to this world. This new year, that’s exactly what I resolve to do. I’ve finally decided to be who I was born to be - an artist who captures the real, genuine, loving, and sometimes imperfect moments of life through the beauty of photography. And I’m proud to announce that Bonnie Elliott Photography is officially accepting clients.
The journey of photography has truly made me appreciate the art of capturing people just being themselves. Life cannot be staged and there is no perfect time for photos, all we have is now. My husband for gifting me my first digital camera, and to my mentor Cassandra Hamilton @cassandrahamiltonphotography who taught me how to use it! My family and friends who allow me to “practice” on them. My mother and father who always believed I should be an artist, were encouraging and patient through all of my experiments!
